部屋より出入りができるように沓脱石（くつぬぎいし）を設置しました。
犬走り（コンクリート部分）があり、カッターを入れて、コンクリートを割って設置部分を作りました。
We installed step stones so that we can take off or put on footware to come into or go out of the house.
The concrete part was cut apart and a step stone was placed there.
クレーン車が届かないので三又やチェンブロックを使い搬入しました。
沓脱石以外にも縁台を置いたりして、庭（季節）の変化を見て楽しんでいます。
No crane truck couldn’t be in the garden, so we used a triangle lift and a chain block for loading the stones.
We also placed a table other than the step stones and are enjoying the change of the garden (season).

コウライシバをＴＭ９に張り替えました。 The Korai turfs were changed to TM9.
草がひどくコウライシバもほとんど残っていない状態でしたので、
除草剤を散布して、１０日ほどたってから土を漉き取りＴＭ９に張替えをしました。
ＴＭ９は省管理型のコウライシバで年に１回（６月頃刈込）ですむ品種です。
最初の管理が大切で、草取りをするか、芝生の除草剤を散布して管理をしてください。
The weeds were so bad and the Korai turfs were so little that we sprayed herbicide and skimmed the top of the ground to change the Korai turfs to TM9 in 10 days.
The maintenance-free TM9 is a kid of Korai turf that needs mowing only once a year in around June.
First control is important, so please weed off or spray herbicide over the lawn.

白線の代わりに白色のホワイトブロックを設置しました。
手間はかかりますが、保護材を使うことで駐車場にも芝生が植えられます。
大都市の住宅や工場など緑地面積が必要な場所では有効な方法だと思います。

It takes time and effort but the parking lot changed to a lawn yard by use of the protectors.
This is an effective method for urban houses, factories, or the like to have green areas.

玄関奥に駐車場が見える窓があり、そこから見えるように坪庭を作成いたしました。
限られたスペースであまり大きくならない樹木を選び植栽をしました。
使用材料は鉄平石 岬灯篭 白玉砂利 シダレモミジ オタフクナンテン タマリュウです。

We selected small trees which do not grow big in the limited space.
The materials are Teppeiseki (thin stone plates), stone light pagoda, white pebbles, Japanese maple tree, Nandina domestica ‘Otafukunanten’, and Ophiopogon japonicus ‘Tamaryu’.

早く目隠しをしたいとのことで、植栽間隔を狭く植栽しています。
ギンモクセイは白い花をつけ、キンモクセイより香りが優しいです。
We planted bushy ilex pedunculosa, silver osmanthus, and ilex rotunda as a hedge.
The customer wanted the hedge as a blinder, so we planted them closer each other.
Silver osmanthus wears white blossoms with more fragrant than orange osmanthus.

Xavan 240 (DuPont) effectively prevents weeds from growing and pebbles from sinking.

芝張りの現場ですが、若干水はけが悪いので土を隙取り洗い砂を敷きつめました。
雨水枡も高いので枡天を下げたり、格子の蓋に変えるのも良いと思います。
乗っている重機はバックホウで、小廻が効いて便利な機械です。
芝生はヒメコウライシバを植栽します。

奥の方に見える竹垣が人工で作った竹（プラスチック）です。
The bamboo fence seen in the back is an artificial bamboo (plastic) fence.
樹木の代わりに付ける方が多くなってきました。
最近の人工垣根は上手く出来ていますので、色あせも以前の物とは比べようにないくらい良くなってきています。
施工時間も出来あがった部品を組み立てるので、施工時間が早くなりました。

以前、当社が作った水琴堀が長年の使用の為、音の響きが悪くなったので掃除をしました。
水琴堀とはつくばいによく使用されています。
土の中に埋めてある水の張ってある壺に、手を洗う水が落ち音が反響する仕掛けになっております。
京都などは多いのですが、この地域では施工する方が少なく、珍しく自慢の庭になると思います。
The echo from the Suikinkutsu (water harp well) we built before sounds dull recently, so we cleaned the Suikinkutsu.
Suikinkutsu is often used together with a Tsukubai (stone bowl) in a Japanese garden.
The device of the Suikinkutsu is from an underground vase with water inside. When the water used for washing hands drops into the Suikinkutsu, the drop of water sounds like a melody of Koto (Japanese harp).
There are many types of Suikinkutsu in Kyoto area. Few people in this area, however, build a Suikinkutsu, so it could be a pride and joy for its rareness.

延べ段（敷石）が長年使用で若干の不具合が出てきましたので修繕しました。
小さな子どもたちが転ばないように段差を少なくしています。
We repaired the paving stones malfunctioned in a use for a long time.
We made the steps less high so that little children do not stumble.
長年、管理していると除草や雨で石と土の部分に段差が出来てしまいます。
Long use of the paving stones produces steps between the stones and the ground by rains and weeding.
コンクリートで修繕することで延べ段の幅も広く感じます。
Repair by concrete makes you feel the width of the paving stones much wider.
