先日の台風でニセアカシアの枝が折れ、歩行者や車に当たる恐れがあるので剪定をさせていただきました。
ニセアカシアは根が浅く倒木しやすく、枝も折れやすいので台風の被害がよくある樹木です。
おまけに枝には刺があり、軍手を重ねてはめて剪定をしました。
Branches of a false acacia were broken by the last typhoon, so we had them pruned to prevent walkers or cars from injuries.
False acacia has shallow a root and tends to fall down and the branches are often broken by typhoon.
In addition, the branches are thorny. We wore double gloves and pruned them.

カイズカイブキを剪定しました。
あまり強く刈込むと先祖がえり（トゲトゲの葉）をおこします。
その場合は先祖返りした部分を、葉のついていない部分より切り取り、正常な枝葉を伸ばすと徐々に戻ってきます。
強剪定をしないように毎年手を入れるといいと思います。
We pruned Juniperius chinesis Kaizuka trees.
If they are pruned too much, they will have sticky leaves (so called returning to descendents).
If so, cut off the parts of no leaves, and let them grow, then they will gradually return to normal.
It is recommended to have them pruned every year.
芝生には草が多く生えていましたので芝生用の除草剤を散布いたしました。
除草剤は３種混合（ザイトロアミン・アージラン・シバゲン）を使用しました。
チガヤ（根が深く除草困難な雑草）にも効果があります。
散布後、１０日後に芝刈をしました。
The lawn yard had many weeds, so we sprayed herbicide (zaitroamin, ashram, and Shibagen) for lawns.
It effects well to Japanese blood grasses (lalang) which have deep roots hard to be pulled out.
Ten days after spraying, we mowed the grasses.

通常、雨降りは足が滑りやすく危険なので作業をしないのですが、現場に近づくにつれて雨が降り出しました。
現場が少し離れたところでしたので雨の中で樹木を剪定しました。
最近の雨は大雨になりやすいので気をつけないといけないですね。
Normally we do not work in rain for safety. It started raining when we arrived at the site.

We must be very careful for the work in rain.
剪定樹木はモッコウバラ・エゴノキ・シラカシ・クロモジ・ゲッケイジュ・カツラ・ヒトツバタゴなどです。
伸びやすい樹木が多いので、現状維持には剪定が必要になってきます。
作業が終わるころ雨も上がりました。

今日は半田中学生の生徒さんが職場体験に来ています。

台風被害で傾いたコニファー（スカイロケット・グリーンコーン）を剪定して、布掛支柱を立てて起こしました。
コニファー（針葉樹の総称）は根が浅く、背が高くなり上部が葉が茂り重たくなる品種が多いです。
適度な高さを保つように剪定が必要になってきます。
We pruned the conifer (Rocky mountain juniper ‘Skyrocket’, green corn) damaged by a typhoon.
It was supported by a cloth-covered strut.
Conifer (generic name for softwood) grows tall, though the root is shallow, with full of heavy leaves on the upper parts of the tree.
It is, therefore, necessary to prune to have an appropriate height of the tree.
シマトネリコも成長が早く樹形が乱れやすい樹木です。
剪定に強い樹木ですので、好きな場所で剪定を行ってください。
※生産者は出荷用のシマトネリコは年に３回剪定しているそうです。
Shimatoneriko (Fraxinus griffithii) also grows so fast that the shape tends to fluctuate.

大きくなりすぎたムクノキを強剪定しています。
クレーン車にカゴを付けて高所作業をしています。
下にある墓石を傷つけないように、別のクレーン車にて枝を吊り剪定をしました。
A too much grown Mukunoki (Aphananthe aspera) was heavily pruned using a crane with a bucket high so that the tombstones below were not damaged and another crane truck for hanging brunches.
