着手前 地盤が軟らかく砕石が敷いてあります。
三河山砂（少し砂利の混ざった、粘土分が少ない土）を敷きました。
沈下を少なくするため、機械（プレート）を使い固めました。
Crushed stones had been on the soft ground.
So we loaded Mikawa mountain sand with little pebble and clay.
The ground was hardened by mechanical plates.

除草剤を散布して３日ほどしてから作業をしました。 草刈を行い土を入れました。
Three days after herbicide was sprayed, we mowed and loaded soil.
防草シート（ザバーン２４０ 強力タイプ）を設置して、シャモット（瓦を砕いたもの）を設置しました。
防草シートを敷き、シャモットを厚く入れることで、かなり防草効果があると思います。
隙間から草は生えますが、除草剤の散布でメンテナンスをしていただく事がお勧めです。

Grass preventive sheets and thick chamotte effect considerable grass prevention.
Some grasses come out of gaps but the maintenance with herbicide will keep the ground nice.

台風被害でスカイロケット・ブルーアイス・グリーンコーン（コニファー）が傾いてしまいました。
The typhoon tilted rocky mountain juniper ‘Skyrocket’ (conifer) trees.
コニファーは根が浅く、上部の葉が茂るため台風被害を良く受けやすい樹木です。
風当たりの強い所ではあまり大きくしない方がいいと思います。
Conifer roots are so shallow and the leaves are so heavy that they tend to have damage by a typhoon.
They should not be grown too big.
